Sando Foundation donates 7500 kilos to the Federation of Food Banks

This contribution is in addition to that made by the workers of the Malaga office in November

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility policy, Sando Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Federation of Food Banks. Via this union, it shall donate the Christmas gifts budget of the Sando group of companies to the Banks of Madrid, Seville and Malaga.

As in previous years, Sando Foundation shall make a contribution in order to palliate the lack of foodstuff, especially on these dates. It shall donate a total of 7500 kilos of food.

This delivery is added to that which the workers of the Sando offices in Malaga made in November, thereby effectively responding to the urgent call made by the Food Bank of the Costa del Sol (Bancosol) due to the situation of scarcity. In the campaign, which lasted for one month, 300 kilos of food were collected thanks to the solidarity of the employees of the company.

By means of the collaboration of entities such as Sando Foundation, the Food Banks ensure that the mediums that they have available are put to the service of society, collecting food products for subsequent distribution to social institutions which help to feed persons in need.
